Two sad news of the last week
We regret to inform you, that on Monday after an unfortunate fall off the Charles Bridge died Jan Tříska. Legendary artist, who lived in California, travelled a lot to Czech Republic, where he shot films and played in theatre. Let's remember him in legendary films such as Obecna skola, Rok Dabla, Jedna ruka netleska, Horem padem, Ukradena vzducholod and others.
The next day, Czech actress Květa Fialová died on Tuesday at the age of 88 after a career of almost seven decades. Born in what is today Slovakia, she was known for her stage, film and television work. Fialová was hired by Jan Werich for his Divadlo ABC theatre in the late 1950s and appeared in a host of popular movies, including Lemonade Joe, Adele Hasn't Had Her Dinner Yet and Closely Watched Trains.
