Extensive interviews with eight living mayors of the city of Brno reflect the events that have occurred over 33 years in the second largest city in the Czech Republic. The first men (and two first women) of the Brno agglomeration were interviewed by writer and journalist Luboš Y. Koláček. The result is cultivated yet spontaneous testimonies characteristic of each individual personality. From these eight independent sources, we learn many interesting facts about long-term events at the city hall and much about the personal and unique approaches of the respondents to the significant position of mayor. The book is equipped with numerous color and black-and-white photographs. It is sold with an attached DVD containing live interviews.
