The current regime is beginning to resemble the one it replaced after 1989. Freedom is gradually diminishing, parliamentary democracy is dominated by ideological and interest groups, and a significant part of society cannot afford basic products and services. The existing rules of the political game do not allow for correction. It is necessary to change the fundamental institutions of the state, the relationship between the state and society, the role of the state in the economy, and our international standing. The book presents proposals for these changes and analyzes regime changes, exemplified by Roosevelt, De Gaulle, Orbán, and others, which also aimed at strengthening freedom, democracy, sovereignty, and prosperity.
