Wine Lovers or Death in One Go is the second in the series of detective novels by Leopold Králík. In this new story, readers will once again meet the unconventional investigator, Dan Švéda, an employee of the Czech School Inspectorate, along with his police colleagues Polák and Vondráček. The plot unfolds in the environment of Moravian winemakers, and the author has utilized his good knowledge of this community, which allowed him to credibly develop a rather complicated plot. In this thrilling story, Dan Švéda tackles a very unusual method of murder. Throughout the investigation, he once again faces erotic challenges that arise during his search, but which also have a significant impact on the successful resolution of the case. In the book, given the author's original profession, we also find an informed, perhaps even ruthless critique of the Czech education system.
