The second volume of letters, which for example in the case of J. Voskovec represents the peak of his post-war literary work, is an invaluable testament to the spiritual world of V & W. "The form of abbreviation, short connections, theatrical allusions, private codes, along with brilliant stylization and incredible addresses and signatures" – this is how R. Dolejš and V. Kofroň very aptly characterize this correspondence. In today's age of text messages and emails, Voskovec's and Werich's correspondence also represents a rehabilitation of the letter as a literary form. The second volume, also supplemented by a number of not entirely known photographs from Werich's and Voskovec's work, includes letters from the years 1963–1968.
