Expensive cars, luxury hotels, French clothing, and restaurants full of celebrities. That was Cyprus at the turn of the 1960s and 1970s. It became home to Greeks, Turks, but also wealthy Brits and members of the British army. It seems that on the island of the goddess Aphrodite, eternal peace reigns. Even the famous Cypriot days experienced by the golden youth are to be marred by Turkish occupation. At a time when the world is divided into two halves, the main character Ema must decide which direction to take in life. "Who Will Stop the Rain" is a journey. A journey into the world of British high society, to a time when music was ruled by the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, a time when letters were the only means to bridge years of separation.
