The Who are releasing a new album, Who, after 13 years. "The album consists of songs, all but two of which were written over the past year," Townshend describes the record. "The album has no theme, no concept, and no story; it's just a collection of songs that my brother Simon and I wrote as inspiration, a challenge, and an opportunity for Roger Daltrey to try out his newly revived voice. Roger and I are both old men in every sense, so I tried to stay away from romance and nostalgia as much as possible. I didn't want anyone to feel uncomfortable. Memories are fine, though.
