Synopsis
Strict and perpetually discontented grumbler receives a voucher for a summer holiday at ROH recreation center. Initially, he refuses, but eventually decides to use the voucher and spend fourteen days at the Jezerka trade union convalescent home along with other deserving workers. The plot of this amusing story revolves not only around Anděl's aversion to everything and everyone, especially to any social activities of the vacationers but also the reconstruction of a kindergarten, which the vacationers secretly undertake to help the desperate teacher and the children without a roof over their heads, certainly needs no further introduction. According to the results of the Hero of Film Smile poll, the auditor Anděl played by Jaroslav Marvan became the most beloved and unsuccessful character in the history of Czech film comedy.
