Description
The Living Alphabet contains exercises and tasks that prepare students for independent reading. Here, students become acquainted with the first letters (M, L, S, P, A, O, U, E, I). The exercises are based on the long-term practice of the authors, teachers at the primary level. It is a workbook in which students write, draw, and complete various tasks. The introduction of the workbook includes a lot of pictorial material and tasks aimed at developing students' verbal expression, visual perception, recognition of differences, spatial orientation, and auditory analysis. Additionally, the Living Alphabet contains illustrated fairy tales for the development of students' speech, grids for word analysis, exercises for reviewing the letters and syllables covered, coloring pictures, suggestions for independent work and home review, and games for practicing reading (pond, stairs, On the Bees, memory game, letter games). An integral part of working with the Living Alphabet is the folding alphabet. We recommend working with the Living Alphabet in September and October.
