Organická chemie – Pečová Danuše

This textbook aims to summarize the basic curriculum of organic chemistry included in the chemistry syllabus for high schools. The presented text could also be useful in preparing high school students for entrance exams for studies at universities such as medical faculties, faculties of science focusing on chemistry, biology, and environmental protection, veterinary and agricultural universities, chemical technology faculties, and similar institutions. The structure of the textbook is based on a logical arrangement of chemical knowledge so that it can be used for independent study as well as for methodological purposes. It therefore contains chapters on organic chemistry divided according to the following scheme: 1. Explanation of basic concepts and characteristics of groups of organic substances. 2. Description of simple practical exercises that can be carried out as demonstration experiments by the teacher or as frontal experiments by students. 3. Control questions to verify understanding of the material with answers and problem-solving tasks with their correct solutions.
