Some of them have been abducted and horrifically murdered. The sinister chain of murders captures Inspector Fred Abberline (Johnny Depp), a capable but somewhat troubled man who uses his extraordinary psychic abilities to aid his police work. Abberline becomes increasingly entangled in the case, and the closer he gets to the truth, the more dangerous the situation becomes for him, for Mary, and for the other girls. Will he withstand the force from hell...?
