Synopsis
Set in 1926, this drama follows engineer Jake Holman, assigned to the USS San Pablo, an American gunboat patrolling China’s turbulent Yangtze River. As Chinese factions fight around them and hostility toward the American presence grows, the crew must protect American interests without causing an international incident. Holman and his ally face a mission that may be their last.
