Synopsis
Pearls of the Deep is a landmark anthology film that helped define the emerging Czechoslovak New Wave. Inspired by short stories of Bohumil Hrabal, the film brings together five young directors, each offering a distinct cinematic interpretation of everyday lives touched by eccentricity, longing, and quiet rebellion.
