Synopsis
In Sugar Candy (Cukrkandl), young doctor Anička Jesenská inherits a mysterious house with a greenhouse and a dental practice in the town of Medov. Determined to help children avoid the painful treatments that once cost her mother’s life, she opens her own clinic. But no one dares to visit her — the villa is rumored to be haunted, with “water from hell” flowing from a nearby spring. Everything changes when Anička discovers a rare Peruvian herb that makes dental procedures painless, quickly winning over young patients. Her success sparks rivalry with the town’s established dentist, Dr. Druml, leading to a lively and uneven battle — with a group of local children standing firmly by Anička’s side.
