Synopsis
Steven Spielberg’s historical thriller follows James Donovan (Tom Hanks), a Brooklyn lawyer who becomes involved in the Cold War. The CIA sends him on a difficult mission to negotiate the release of a captured American U-2 pilot. Inspired by real events, the film portrays a man who risks everything to do what he believes is right.
