PB3 discovers that recycling has its advantages. When his robot friend Martine stops working, the doctor on P3 tells PB3 to throw her away and buy a new robot. A wooden needle in her body is broken, but it cannot be replaced because there are no trees on P3. PB3 travels to Earth to find a wooden needle and save his friend. During his search, he learns a great deal about recycling and about children who look for objects at a rubbish dump to resell them. Will the children manage to help PB3 save Martine?
