Our seven-month adventurous journey through Asia is coming to an end. The steppe landscape of the last true nomads is replaced by the harsh Siberia, where, in addition to the breathtaking nature, we are accompanied by a dark past associated with the Kolyma gulags. We are heading to Magadan, a city at the end of the world. It is accessed by the infamous road known as the Road of Bones, built by prisoners from labor camps. Once intended to be a ticket to Siberia's mineral wealth, for us it represents a real challenge. Right here, in a landscape with minimal civilization and extreme climate, our car's transmission breaks down. For the very first time, we cannot move forward and are left relying on the help of eccentric locals in the worst place in the world.
