This special anniversary reissue presents a collection of sayings and poetic mystifications by Vincent Venera, a real figure from magical Prague. Enlightened during a stay in prison in Los Angeles in 1982, he was described as an eccentric disabled pensioner and mystic, the supreme head of the CIA, a Venusian and venereologist, a keyboard virtuoso, a paranoid schizophrenic, frontman of the band Svatý Vincent, the apex of the pyramid and a holy man. Originally published by Pablo de Sax as a five-copy samizdat edition for a small circle of close friends, the book became a cult classic and a sought-after collector’s item after its first book edition in 1990.
