Statehood is not only a legal but also a value category. It expresses the distinctiveness of a specific state and its nation, its manifested cultural code in the totality of the exercise of power, symbols, and customs associated with it. In the face of imported multiculturalism without limits, which has no 'melting' but a completely disintegrative social role, it is all the more important to rehabilitate the idea of the nation-state, which can ensure citizens not only survival but also protect them against the pitfalls of the modern global world. It is good to realize that being a sovereign state is not a given, but a hard-won position.
