Hory a nekonečno – Hlaváčková Viktorka (2021)

Among mountain and travel enthusiasts, the cult book Mountains and Infinity has reached its second edition. In addition to adjustments in graphics and layout, it is supplemented with a larger number of photographs, totaling 80 pages in the book. Viktorka embarked on a seven-month journey, walking across the Caucasus from the Black Sea in Georgia to the Caspian Sea in Azerbaijan. The book is full of cheerful and thrilling stories and conversations with local residents, complemented by observations of how a pilgrim's perception of things and life values changes during solitary time in the mountains. You will learn how the author coped with the attention that a solitary woman on the road attracts, with fear, hunger, inclement weather, and bureaucracy.
