Bitcoin - Odluka peněz od státu – Tětek Josef (2021)

A book about the nature of money and the ongoing monetary evolution. The state is losing its most valuable tool of power – money – and society is regaining it. What role does Bitcoin play in this process, and why should you pay attention to it? As part of our local initiative Braiins Publishing, where we bring quality foreign translations about Bitcoin to Czech and Slovak readers, we decided to take another step closer to our local community and present the first book by a Czech author. It is the book Bitcoin: The Separation of Money from the State by Josef Tětka. The author dedicates 115 pages of the book, divided into five chapters, to an introduction to the Austrian school of economics, time preferences and their relationship to the nature of money, and guides you through the monetary history of humanity and the separation of institutions from the state and the overall impacts of monetary separation as such. In the conclusion, the author addresses the question of why only Bitcoin has a chance of success and why it makes no sense to pay attention to the large number of other so-called cryptocurrencies. What does economics actually solve? Why do we need non-state money? Do we have to constantly go into debt and consume the future? Why does a monopoly on money represent an irresistible temptation? How is the gradual bitcoinization of the world occurring?
