When the reader learns that Kamil (presumably the central hero, why else would he be there from the beginning?) grinds his best friend into an especially fine powder just before his promotion, right when his stocks are not doing well on the market - and that using only one-seventh of centrifuged breast milk (just think about it!) - it may not make complete sense to the reader. Nevertheless, he is a proponent of the motto 'Everything can basically be explained.' If the book is not equipped with notes and explanations, the reader often has to reach for a dictionary, encyclopedia, or other sources of supporting information (an emeritus mother-in-law, the chairman of the crossword club, friend Google, the caretaker, a neighbor academic, Educational Otto, Mr. Trávníček with his dictionary...), which significantly slows down the reading of the book and does not add to its comprehensibility. Every quality book should be appropriately equipped with notes and explanations. If the reader is groping in a book without explanations, then in a book with explanations, he performs wonders. Nothing deteriorates groping like an abundance of well-founded explanations. So, let's dive into it.
