Journalist Petr has always been a mama's boy, and even after being fired from the regional newspaper, he continues to hope that one day he will break through with a groundbreaking article. When he hears about a woman who allegedly has the ability to heal with her touch, he decides to expose her fraud and finally earn some recognition. However, in a remote settlement in the middle of the woods, he must deal not only with the mysterious young healer but also with the rugged environment, the local inhabitants, and above all, the all-pervasive and unpredictable nature. And ultimately, he must confront his relationship with his mother, for whom a miraculous healing would suddenly come in handy. The author's debut novel, with uncompromising humor, pulls the flawed hero out of his comfort zone. It forces him to face an unexpected question – should he follow what he thinks he knows, or the only thing he might be able to believe in?
