Krupčice. A small village in Northern Silesia near Opava. The story from the 1980s is about the budding relationship between two young people. How will the love story of a boy from the city, who regularly comes to Krupčice for holidays, and a village girl turn out? Who in the village truly wishes ill for their budding love and why? Is it the fault of the boy's grandfather's long-ago suicide, which weaves a dark thread through the story and continues to influence people's fates even after many years? Perhaps it is just the different customs of the villagers, brilliantly illustrated by their unique dialect. Will music become the key, or will it instead thwart the fateful meeting of two people living far apart for most of the time? The story contains love, disappointment, cruelty, but also tenderness.
