Monika and Jirka Vackovi have a passion for exploring the world from the saddle of a bike, so their two small children were not an obstacle to their next big journey. Even though Péťa came into the world only at the end of January 2015 and somewhat complicatedly, by the end of December of the same year, he was already sitting on a plane with his three-year-old sister Bára, ready to travel with their parents to the furthest place possible from the Czech Republic – New Zealand. In the trailer attached to their father, they covered 4010 kilometers in three months and spent most nights in a tent. However, for the parents, this time it was a completely different dimension of traveling. Rest was almost non-existent, the weather often showed its worse side, the infrastructure was very poor in many places, the landscape was hilly, the roads busy, fences stretched as far as the eye could see, and the country was literally overcrowded with tourists in the summer. But even so, it was once again an unforgettable journey that they are happy to share with you.
