The events that sparked his particularly strong interest in aviation during his childhood, school years, and the aerial war of 1939-1945 have been included in the text because similar personal experiences inspired thousands of young Czechoslovak men to voluntarily enlist in Czechoslovak military aviation schools, just as he did. 80 pages, black and white photographs.
