This book of color photographs with Slovak and English poetic descriptions could easily be titled New Zealand through the Lens of Hirax. But that would be a lie. This country revealed itself to me as it wanted to be seen. I saw exactly what I was meant to see, and this book contains precisely the photos I was meant to take. New Zealand is, after all, a beautiful piece of land with thousands of faces. Every tourist trail, forest, mountain, and the atmosphere of cities, towns, and villages were different. The external natural scenery changed in an instant, to the point where you might say you suddenly found yourself on another continent. No, it was just the land of clouds, as this territory is sometimes called, cleverly dressing itself in a new outfit.
