Beschreibung
Jarga is part of a trilogy by Ukrainian author Vladimír Kurovský (along with the books Živa and Rodosvit). It will reveal to you the secrets of the spiritual and physical development of our ancestors according to an ancient system of self-improvement that could be called Slavic yoga. This system utilizes universal life energy – živa, and is therefore extremely effective. A significant part of the book consists of instructions for special exercises (positions and their sequences), which, in addition to their beneficial physical effects, also induce certain desirable states of the soul; there are also very interesting breathing and sound exercises that use so-called life sounds; various meditations, referred to as 'tuning' in this system; mudras (special hand and finger positions); Slavic prayers; guidelines regarding nutrition; advice on cleansing and healing; and a discussion on chakras and energetic (subtle) bodies from the perspective of Slavic teachings. The body is not understood separately from the soul or psyche, but rather: the mentioned sequences aim to bring the body and soul into harmony, thus contributing to a healthy, content, and generally fulfilled life, and ideally leading a person to enlightenment, so-called clarity.
