A modern colorful textbook developed in accordance with RVP ZV and published as part of the Reading with Understanding series aimed at supporting reading literacy. An innovative element is the prose articles, poems, and riddles that introduce each chapter. In addition to grammatical tasks, there are also questions to reinforce reading literacy. Tasks that develop students' communication skills and ethical education are included. The guiding character of the textbook is a little wizard named Magik and his friend Lucinka. The textbook also includes interesting exercises, games, competitions, riddles, and fill-in-the-blanks. It contains cross-cutting themes, group work, and interdisciplinary tasks. After each major chapter, there is a summary of the material. At the end of the textbook, there is a final test and solutions to selected exercises. A card for the competition 'Gems from Magik' is inserted into the textbook. If students complete the exercises with the gem symbol correctly, they can color the corresponding gem on the card as a reward. NOVA44-50
