Prvouka 2 – učebnice pro 2. ročník ZŠ - Čtení s porozuměním – Nováková Zdislava (2025)

This modern, colourful textbook follows the Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education and belongs to the Reading with Understanding series, which supports reading literacy through activity-based learning methods. It builds on knowledge acquired in the first year and further develops and deepens it. Motivational poems, riddles and extracts from children’s literature are accompanied by questions and tasks that support reading literacy. The real world of children plays an important role, presented through the guide characters Jana and Lukáš. Their comic-strip conversations introduce children to their immediate surroundings, nature through the seasons and further knowledge about the human body. The learning text is supplemented with many colour illustrations and photographs, while methodological instructions at the bottom of each page provide guidance on working with the exercises, ideas and questions. The textbook also includes tasks focused on ethical education, questions and activities linking different subjects, suggestions for group work, experiments, games and competitions. Its contents are in Czech. A colourful workbook accompanies the textbook, with each workbook page carrying the same number as its corresponding textbook page.
