The textbook is organized clearly and understandably, covering topics traditionally arranged for the 8th grade – a review of basic knowledge from lower grades: introductory explanation about the language, word study and vocabulary, spelling practice, morphology, syntax and composition, media and media education. It also includes a final review and a key with solutions to review tests. The benefit of the textbook is that it contains interdisciplinary texts that support and test students' reading literacy. There are also ordering tasks, where the goal is to determine the correct order of individual sections to achieve proper text continuity (similar tasks are part of entrance exams for high schools).
