We present to you a workbook for teaching history in the 6th grade of elementary school and in the first year of multi-year gymnasiums, created in accordance with the principles of RVP ZV.

Our goal was to create a teaching material that combines a classic notebook with notes and exercises for practicing the covered material (crosswords, matching exercises, hidden words, anagrams, word searches…).

We strive to develop students' reading literacy and map skills. (You can use maps continuously throughout the chapter.)

When working with the workbook, we recommend discussing the new material and then completing the introductory exercises (similar to notes in a regular notebook) using the textbook. In the following lesson, we suggest reviewing and practicing the material from the previous lesson through playful tasks and then focusing on the new chapter. We believe that the time you gain by not having students copy notes from the board can be used to enliven the material, for example, with a video.

For tasks where students decide whether statements are true, we recommend correcting false statements orally.

When working with students with special educational needs, we recommend highlighting key words and concepts in the introductory exercise that substitutes for notes.
