This workbook is created in accordance with modern trends in geography education and represents a whole with the geography textbook for the 9th grade of elementary school. The workbook is part of a series of workbooks for our publishing house's textbooks for the second stage of elementary school. The workbook contains exercises for practicing and applying the material covered in the textbook. Emphasis is placed on the visual aspect of the workbook. Illustrative photographs, images, and diagrams serve to enhance understanding of the material. The workbook includes tasks aimed at developing digital competence (marked with a computer symbol) and tasks that encourage reflection and understanding of the socio-environmental challenges of the contemporary world. At the beginning of each chapter, there is a box with missing words to be filled in, serving as notes for the student. It summarizes the basic material of the chapter, and the notes can be used instead of notes in the workbook.
