This textbook builds on the music education textbook for the 4th grade, which it reviews, practices, and further develops. You can once again look forward to classes full of beautiful melodies, rhythmic and melodic exercises. The tasks from the world of music are accompanied by instructions for simple dances and movement activities, ideas for drama education, and artistic work. (The tasks include symbols that we explain below.) You will also learn basic information about other composers and get to know musical instruments in more detail. The textbook also includes links to listening pieces that suitably complement the material. We have prepared tasks for you related to the listening activities. Don't forget about the breathing, vocal, and articulation exercises that you already know from previous grades. They should remain an integral part of every music education class. Just like in the previous textbooks, we have divided the material for better clarity into individual months of the school year and further into chapters. These are usually introduced with a motivational story. Viola and Rudolf, 5th-grade students, will guide you through the textbook.
