A modern colorful textbook developed according to the latest trends, in accordance with the RVP ZV, published as part of the Reading with Understanding series aimed at supporting reading literacy. The main goal is to further deepen children's interest in the Czech language and literature. The guiding character of the textbook is the fairy Hvězdička. The textbook contains interesting exercises, games, competitions, puzzles, fill-in-the-blanks, and other fun tasks. After each major chapter, there are review tasks with scoring, where students can verify their knowledge. At the end of the textbook, there is a final review and on the opposite side, an answer key with solutions to selected exercises, including all reviews. A free attachment for the competition 'Hvězdičky od víly' is included in the textbook. If students complete the exercises marked with a star correctly, they can color in the corresponding star on the attached card as a reward. The textbook also includes writing exercises, with motivational articles based on the real lives of children. Additionally, you will find questions to reinforce reading literacy, suggestions for group work, tasks and questions related to interdisciplinary connections, and references to the corresponding pages in the workbook.
