Music education is developed in accordance with the RVP ZV. Here, students playfully acquire attractive art and folk songs and age-appropriate knowledge of music theory for 2nd graders, which they then practice further. The guide of the textbook is the cat Mour. We aim to develop children's interest in music, including folk, classical, and popular music. An innovative element is particularly various breathing and rhythmic exercises based primarily on experiences with yoga for children, which contribute to a healthy lifestyle and harmony and diversify the routine of regular teaching. Through individual tasks, we awaken creativity, imagination, and independent thinking in children. Last but not least, there are also chapters concerning general cultural awareness of our customs, traditions, and folklore. The main sections of the textbook are structured by individual months.
