Present-day America. In the woods near a scout camp, fifteen scouts and seven of their leaders are found – all have committed suicide. One of the dead boys is a friend of Sparky Wallace, whose father Jack runs a Polish restaurant in Chicago. Jack discovers a connection between the suicides and the death of his own grandfather, who killed himself in the Kampinos Forest in Poland while fighting against the Nazis during World War II. ***** Jack and Sparky set off to Poland together to uncover a terrifying secret.
