According to the literature, its incidence ranges from 0.5 to 6%, yet especially during the first weeks of life it often remains undetected because it can resemble another, more common diagnosis. This book provides a comprehensive treatment of cow’s milk protein allergy, combining a general description of the diagnosis with practical advice and recommendations, including a dairy-free meal plan for breastfeeding mothers and guidance on introducing complementary foods for a child diagnosed with the condition.
