Beschreibung
This book combines a cookbook, literary writing and a romantic tribute to a wonderful garden in the historic center of Mikulov in South Moravia. Alongside several grape varieties, two fig trees and thirty rose bushes, it is home to an abundance of fragrant herbs and edible weeds, all of which deserve to be recognized and tasted. The pots release the aromas of lavender, lilac and damask roses, while vine-leaf rolls simmer in a saucepan and figs dry on the stove. A lyrical walk through a semi-wild Pálava garden, accompanied by an unconventional local guide who understands the secrets of wood and the language of nature, has inspired two dozen recipes that anyone can prepare. The contents are in Czech.
