Pohádka o modrém vagonku - Pohádky s piktogramy pro kluky i holky – Zobáčová Hana (2022)

Almost all children love trains, train stations, and everything related to them. This is also brought to life in the story of the blue wagon told through pictograms. A curious little wagon that wants to help everyone experiences various adventures and ultimately takes the children on a trip. The simple story is accompanied by large illustrations, as well as pictures (so-called pictograms) that reflect the structure of sentences and help understand and perceive sentence construction. Pictograms aid in speaking and reading and support both reading and pre-reading skills. Because the story is based on repetition, it allows children to quickly navigate the text and gives them the opportunity to build, read, and understand the entire story with a small number of words. Thus, children can easily read the story themselves or, with the help of the pictures, assist an adult in reading. They can also easily interpret it afterward. The book is intended for children who love stories and enjoy reading. Thanks to the illustrations, the book can be offered to children as young as two years old. It can also be presented to children with autism spectrum disorders, with dysphasia, children whose mother tongue is not Czech, or children with other disadvantages that complicate understanding stories in a "traditional" way.
