The set of worksheets is designed for working with students who have a different native language. Students will learn to better navigate the subject matter of local history while working with the worksheets. They will understand basic concepts, become familiar with Czech legends, significant historical figures and events, cultural monuments, geographical curiosities, symbols of Czech statehood, Czech customs and traditions, and many other topics. Through working with the manual, not only communication skills are developed, but also other abilities, especially personal and social skills. Children will train their memory, as well as attention and concentration. Therefore, they can also be used when working with other students, such as those with various special educational needs. The foundation of the worksheets consists of interestingly processed black-and-white illustrations, for which several simple tasks for students are prepared. All assignments can be supplemented and developed according to the needs and individual capabilities of the student. Students with a different native language can work with the worksheets alongside their teachers, assistants, after-school caregivers, or even with parents or older siblings. Therefore, the worksheets are supplemented with brief methodological instructions and practiced vocabulary. At the end of the publication, there is an alphabetically arranged glossary of the vocabulary used.
