Bible ve světle mystiky - Evangelium sv. Jana, Matouše, Lukáše a Marka, Zjevení sv. Jana – Weinfurter Karel (2025)

The writer, translator, but above all, mystic Karel Weinfurter (1867–1942) became famous for his book The Burning Bush or The Revealed Mystical Path, which was first published in 1923. We are now publishing a part of his equally significant work, which the author titled The Bible in the Light of Mysticism. This is an ambitious and extensive project from the years 1929 and 1930, in which Karel Weinfurter set out to subject selected parts of the New Testament and apocryphal texts to mystical examination. From this collection, we have selected five texts dealing with the four New Testament gospels and the Revelation of Saint John.

In the preface to his work, the author wrote in 1929:
"There are few books that explain the Holy Scripture according to the order of mysticism, namely that path to God, which is unique and can be reached with absolute certainty of salvation — namely, personal knowledge of God. We have plenty of commentaries and interpretations of the Scriptures in literature. The Bible is one of those books that are the most widespread in the world, as millions of its copies are in the hands of readers in all parts of the world and in all languages. But how many people understand the Scriptures according to the truth?

I do not exaggerate when I say that hardly a single one out of a million souls! It may seem unbelievable, yet it is true.
