Perhaps the most original personality in modern Czechoslovak history. A few years after Štefánik's untimely death, sculptor Bohumil Kafka follows in his footsteps. He searches for who Štefánik really was – in the eyes of his family, friends, colleagues, and lovers. However, each encounter disrupts the established image of this personality, which Kafka should immortalize in a monumental monument.
