Barbora's unsatisfactory marriage to a somewhat selfish workaholic is held together only by her four-year-old son Adam, her only and longed-for child. Due to health reasons, she cannot have more children, and thus her son is the center of the heroine's universe. However, her life is soon turned upside down by a huge tragedy - Adam dies under dramatic circumstances, and Barbora's world collapses like a house of cards. The young woman cannot cope with the psychological impact of her son's departure, and partly for this reason, she faces the now inevitable divorce. Loneliness and the pain of a heavy loss, combined with untreated mental health issues, lead to Barbora fully developing post-traumatic stress disorder, which begins to take control of her thoughts and later her actions. Her previously orderly life gradually transforms into a thriller ride, where not only her own safety is at risk, but especially that of those around her. The heroine originally dedicated her life to the dream role of a mother, which is now a definitive past, leading her down a slippery slope. The actions she commits under the influence of her mental condition become increasingly dangerous. Unfortunately, it may happen that Barbora will never be able to find her way back and will lose her own soul.
