Charlotte returns with her brother Marek to their father’s house. She carries a child in her womb. She confides her secret to Eduard, the man leading their group through the mountains, who has long desired her. However, the child wants to enter the world before its time, and Charlotte narrowly escapes death. Jack, another of the guides, takes her home on horseback to the mountains, where she is well cared for. There, she meets a young man named Frank. He gradually introduces her to everything she needs to know about life on the farm in the mountains and becomes her friend. Perhaps even something more, if her past would allow it? However, the pleasant stay in pure nature does not last long, and Charlotte's life turns into a horror. Eduard already knows where to find Charlotte, and his love turns into obsession.
