Natural solution to the issue of bee housing. What do bee colonies need for successful breeding? The most important thing for them is a suitable microclimate in the brood nest. What disrupts this microclimate? The gap between the comb and the wall of the hive. Why? Because heat and aseptic fragrant substances dispersed in the air escape through this gap with the movement of air. Replacing the heat loss requires enormous effort from the bees, which reduces honey yield and weakens the colony. The author explains this law in detail in the book and presents a design proposal for two hives that address this fundamental problem.
