The Cold War is reaching its peak. Vadim Skorlenskij and his elite unit Specnaz have returned from Afghanistan. Their next mission – New York. They are told it is a "drill." Too late, they realize that the "training" chemical weapon they have with them is all too real. They march to their deaths... and wake up in a city overrun by walking dead, which are now spreading across the globe. Skorlenskij and his zombie command unit try to survive amidst the mindless monsters and return to Russia. Russia has destroyed the world without a second thought. It has condemned Vadim to a fate worse than death. Now he is coming home, and someone will pay for it.
