In the Honey Forest live four kind-hearted animal friends with wonderfully soft fur. Whenever one of the children from the forest nursery gets into trouble, they rush to help. This time, they come to the aid of the mischievous Pavla, who sets off on an adventure through the forest and discovers two bunnies in great danger. On a trip to the gamekeeper’s lodge, little Pavla pokes an anthill with a stick, sending the ants scurrying in every direction, including into her trouser legs. Fortunately, the four friends know the way to the nearest stream and can put Pavla’s energy to good use in rescuing the bunnies. The rescue team consists of Míša the fox, Daňka the fawn, Makovička the raccoon and Chrochtík the wild boar. Míša is curious and always pokes his nose into everything, discovering the best adventures in the forest. He also has a good instinct for friendship, because a good team means everything to him. Daňka is cautious, reserved and constantly worried about something, but nobody understands feelings and moods as well as she does, so everyone appreciates her wise words. Chrochtík is clever and always looking for an adventure, while his mother is always looking for him. He can make his friends laugh or leave them amazed. Makovička loves taking care of everyone, tirelessly looks after cleanliness and regularly claps with delight. She is named after the poppy and most enjoys wearing a red flower in her hair. This Czech-language story is the second book about the friends from the Honey Forest.
