The workbook complements the textbook Vlastivěda 4 – Getting to Know Our Country. The workbook, like the textbook, supports reading literacy and employs the method of experiential learning. It focuses on practical verification of acquired knowledge through working with the reference map from the textbook or with supplementary maps included in the text. It also includes fill-in-the-blanks, word searches, anagrams, and cut-out tasks from the appendices. Similar to the textbook, excerpts from beautiful literature are included in the workbook, allowing students to practice both text comprehension and to better connect with the facts being discussed.
