Prvouka 3 - učebnice, Čtení s porozuměním – Janáčková Zita (2021)

The modern colorful textbook is developed in accordance with the RVP ZV. It is part of the Reading with Understanding series, which focuses on supporting reading literacy using experiential learning methods. The textbook builds on the knowledge acquired in the 1st and 2nd grades, further developing and deepening it. Poems, riddles, and short excerpts from children's prose are supplemented by questions and tasks that support reading literacy. Children become more familiar with their surroundings, nature throughout the seasons, and gain further knowledge about the human body. The textbook also emphasizes ethical education and the individuality of each child. The guiding characters are Jana and Lukáš, whose comic-style conversations bring the real world closer to children. At the bottom edge of the textbook pages, there are questions and tasks related to the topic, as well as suggestions for further activities – games, group work, competitions, experiments. Each page is also supplemented by one key word translated into English. The textbook is complemented by the workbook First Science 3, which appropriately reinforces the knowledge gained from the textbook.
